Day Three: Preparing to Shut-In and Shout Out
Day Three: Preparing to Shut-In and Shout Out
Written By Tamara Pope
Everything Begins and Ends With God
Our reasons vary for checking in for the Shut-In and Shout Out. Some of our desired outcomes might be healing, breakthrough, restoration, growing in relationship with God, greater connection with God, and salvation. Whatever your specific desired outcome is, we must approach our time of prayer with this thought in mind. EVERYTHING BEGINS AND ENDS WITH GOD! His word declares in Revelations 22:13 NLT that, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” This is where our confidence must rest. We must remain confident in this promise, “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.:” Philippians 1:6 NLT Our confidence and expectation are not in whoever will lead us during our time of connecting with the Father through this Intensive. That’s right! We are putting our confidence and expectation in the One who started something good in us knowing that He finishes what He starts. Rejoice! We are not unfinished projects in the Father’s book. He is still working in and on us. He will not walk away nor abandon us but will continue His work in us until He is done. Take a look at our Warfare Weapon for today below.
